I'm so excited for you to try sugaring if it's your first time! I'm bias but I think it's the best form of hair removal. If you are nervous please let me know. I pride myself on helping get you through your first appointment. I do my best to make sure my studio is a safe space in every sense of the word. I want to earn your trust and keep it. You can feel free to ask me any questions before you book, during and after your appointment.

Timing grow out is essential to getting a smooth result. For all sugaring services if you've been shaving please allow at least two weeks of growth (three weeks for legs) between now and your appointment.  If you've been waxing/sugaring please allow 4 weeks.  If you've been doing nothing...come as you are!  No need to trim! Hairs must be at least an 1/8 of an inch  to sugar especially if its your first time or youve been shaving . (Picture a grain of rice. )

Feel free to text if you can't find the ideal timeslot online, I can sometimes fit you in on my end.  

When you arrive:  Flora Sugaring is located in the green house building above Entrust Hair Salon. 

At your scheduled time just head up the front wooden stairs to the porch. You will find the access code in your booking email and in the reminder text.  (If you can't find the code there is a doorbell panel on the wall  to the right.) 

Once inside my office is the third door on the right.  It’s clearly labeled. If my door is closed I may be with the client before you and I will be out shortly. There is a little waiting area with chairs and the bathroom is just across from my office door.  Please make yourself comfortable if you’re early.  If my door is open you are welcome to come right in. 

Parking: There is a tiny parking lot behind the building but if it's full there is also street parking all around. I usually have good luck right around the corner on 24th.

Kids:  Please bring your kiddo if you need to as long as they can handle waiting the duration of your appointment with a tablet or book, etc. They are welcome to sit in the waiting area or I have a chair in my office and if needed they can be behind a curtain.

Cancelation Policy:  At this time I do not charge a last minute cancelation fee for my clients.  However, if you cannot make your appointment please cancel as soon as possible so that your vacancy can potentially be filled by another client.  At least a 24 hour notice is greatly appreciated.  If you are running late please text me if you can to let me know.  Appointments are booked back to back and some appointment times are only 15 mins long.  If you find yourself running more than fifteen minutes (five mins for brow, underarm and lip appointments) behind your scheduled time please be aware that you may end up having to be rescheduled. I do understand sometimes stuff happens and I will always  do my best to still fit you in if I possibly can.
